BEACHES

BENITSES

Benitses beach stretches along with the homonymous village in the southern part of Corfu. It is located just a few steps from the property and 20 minutes from the center. There is more than one beach with sand or pebbles that cover every need of the visitors. On the larger beach, you can find various activities, but there are smaller ones for those who want more relaxed and secluded moments. The crystal clear waters will enchant you, and the beach has been awarded a Blue Flag.

PALEOKASTRITSA

“The most beautiful girls, I've seen them in Paleokastritsa”, sang Rena Vlachopoulou (a famous Greek actress) in a Greek old-school movie, and not without reason, since Paleokastritsa is one of the most popular beaches of Corfu with excellent crystal clear waters combined with a breathtaking landscape! It is 20 minutes away from the center of the island. Although the waters of Paleokastritsa may be a little colder than other beaches, the seabed's purity and beauty cause a refreshing swim! Paleokastritsa includes an area with 6 small bays and beaches, of which the largest one has all the amenities one needs while the next one, which is smaller, is not fully organized. The rest can only be reached by sea by rented boat or taxi boat which have regular departures from the long beach.

AGIA TRIADA

Agia Triada beach in Paleokastritsa is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. After passing through green hills, you will find yourself in front of crystal clear blue waters on a beach with sand and fine pebble. It is an organized beach with water sports facilities for adventure lovers; you can also rent a small boat to the most remote beaches in the area.

ALYPA

Alypa beach is a smaller beach of Paleokastritsa with excellent blue waters inside a small marina with the unique green landscape of the area as a background. It is an organized beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, and you can rent a boat to explore the most remote beaches in the area.

AGIOS SPYRIDON

Another bay in Paleokastritsa of magnificent beauty with crystal clear waters is Agios Spyridon. Agios Spyridon is one of the longest and most popular coastline beaches and is located below the monastery. The beach has sunbeds and umbrellas but in a limited number and has more free space than the rest of the beaches in the area.

KONTOKALI

Kontokali beach is located on the eastern side of the island, just 5 km from the center, and is a fully organized beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. Access is very easy, either by bus or by car. It has clear blue, shallow waters; the seabed is sandy and suitable for families with young children. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés to accompany your dives in the area, and the beach has been awarded a Blue Flag.

MYRTIOTISSA

On the west coast of the island and right next to the famous Glyfada beach, there is a beautiful beach of incredible beauty, Myrtiotissa. It is isolated, and access is possible via a downhill dirt road. It has been described as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe and is one of the cleanest beaches in Corfu. Nature dominates every corner of the beach, and human intervention is minimal as the beach is not organized. It is also the official nudist beach of the island; it is impressive that its size was almost three times the size a few decades ago, but the sea has swallowed much of the coast.

AGIOS GEORGIOS PAGON

A unique, endless sandy beach in the northwestern part of the island is waiting for you to discover it. It is one of the most popular and the calmest beaches of Corfu. In this beautiful bay, you can find all the amenities: sunbeds, umbrellas, restaurants, cafés, and water sports facilities. For the more adventurous, there is also a diving school. It has been awarded a Blue Flag. At the top of the rock stretches the picturesque village of Afionas, with stunning sunset views.
